I'm not dead.
Hey hi what's up. I have been neglecting this blog... clearly.
I changed my layout... again but I think I like it the most. I've said that before.
School is almost over which is excellent except it means I have to go home and I don't have that many friends there. I'm working on seeing a bunch of shows but that requires a job, something I do not yet posses. I already have tickets to see Yeasayer with Smith Westerns and Fleet Foxes. I saw Wye Oak recently in a really cute venue in Baltimore. It's in a dilapidated church and it's so pretty! They sold cheap vegan desserts in the back. I'd love to see another show there. Wye Oak was fantastic. Jenn's voice is incredible, as is their new album. Check them out if you like Beach House. I tried concert photography again because it was one of those really relaxed venues that had no camera policy. I got some good photos and I even took some good ones on film.
GIG was not as much fun this year because it was indoors due to rain. :( But I got to meet Bethany from Best Coast and I nearly had a heart attack. She is so sweet and I wish I got to talk to Ali and Bobb as well. I think Ali is also a sweetheart. I wish I could have gotten to spend time with them the rest of the evening because they stayed in the hotel right next to my school and went to The Cheesecake Factory. hah That would have completed my day. I still had a lot of fun and look forward to seeing them perform live in the future. I stupidly didn't get a photo with Bethany but I have the following two photo. I took tons more but the lighting was bad and I just have my default lens. I do what I can.
They also signed this paper for me and I need to get a frame for it! Note to self: Get it at Michaels with Cait.
School is ending shortly so I have to focus on a lot of work-y things. I'm hoping to get a pathology internship at a local hospital and a job at the Disney Store this summer. That would be absolutely ideal. I have to finish my dumb resume to email that asap since they haven't called me after they asked for my number.
