After leaving the infirmary Jennifer has a sudden thought. "Ulrike-sama!" Was anyone thinking to see how she was doing? Jennifer took quick steps down the hall with the intention of seeing how the Maiden was doing.
[Anissina was walking down the hall when she heard footsteps behind her. Turning she saw Shibuya-san behind her. She recognised the woman from the ball but hadn't had a chance to talk to her. She paused to let the woman catch up.]
Shibuya-san, are you alright? Were you caught up in the wave?
Jennifer stops and looks at the other woman. "Caught in the wave......?" She blinks before it clicks together and she gives the woman a smile. "Oh, I'm pure human, nothing for me to worry about with the wave."
Her smile dies though when her thoughts return to what her goal was. "Froken Anissina, has anyone looked up on Ulrike-sama?"
"I would love that-" She stops and notices only now that her companion is now male. "Herr Anissina." She smiles at the man. "I know the way to the shrine but I think having you come too is a great idea." She gives the man a short bow before heading off in the direction of the shrine again, trusting she will be followed.
[Anissina watches the small resolute woman walk off down the hallway, complete in the notion that she will be followed. He can see where Yuuri-Heike got his stubborn streak. He may have inherited much from his father, but his backbone definately came from his mother's side of the family]
[Sprinting to catch up, Anissina came level with the woman]
It would be a pleasure to accompany you. It has been a while since I was at the shrine.
I wonder if the effects of everything that has happened at the castle were confined to it or whether they spread out further. This could be... interesting
[Anissina looked at the women coming out to meet them. She had always considered the Shrine Guards diligent but they seemed slightly... anxious today. Looking over the women, she noticed one that she recognised.]
Shibuya-san, please allow me?
[Stepping away from Jennifer slightly, Anissina had a quick word with the guard. It seemed that the Original Maiden was missing. A serious expression fixed on her face, she nodded]
[Walking back to Jennifer, she whispered]
It seems like Ulrike is missing. She hasn't been seen since this morning. They have been looking for her but no luck so far.
Jennifer bit her lip as she processed the information, thinking of what their next step could be. "I guess we can just help with the search....." She blinked the looked at Anissina. "Can't you track her somehow using your powers? But I guess not if the maidens didn't already think of that." She sighed and tried to think of something else.
"Ano, then do you need any help with the powers... thing? Or anything, just say the word." Now that she was here Jennifer was a bit unsure what to do. Her next questions were aimed at everyone. "Have you checked all the normal places for her to be? And has anything odd happened here since this morning?"
Did anyone randomly change gender this morning? Or feel weak around lunch time?
[One or two put up their hands at the second question. Another one or two start telling Jennifer the places where they have searched. Anissina ticks of the places.]
Jennifer started moving as soon as she got some places, sure to grab one of the maidens to help her since she had only been to the Shrine once before. She knows it's not proper protocol to be so rude as a mere visitor- a human one at that, even if she is the maou's mother. But on the other hand this is the Maiden and her safety was what she was most concerned with.
"Did you see a young boy today? He would have looked about eleven." She figures the Maiden must have been hit by the first wave and that is why no one recognized her. Her first stop would be the shrine room and she knew they would try to protest. But she would not let their idiotic customs let the Maiden fall into real harm. Who knew what could have happened to her in the past few hours.
Jennifer just prayed she or Anissina found her quickly.
[With a nod to Jennifer, she started off on her own, dragging two of the maidens with her. She went first to Ulrike's room, to the protests of the girls with her and took a small item of clothing, sensing the essence of the Original Maiden. It was very faint. She followed the trail to the court yard and on into the shrine. She is behind Jennifer by a minute or two. It is gratifying to know that the human mother of the Maou had good instincts.]
[She was growing increasingly worried, picking up the thoughts of the Maidens with her. The trail was weak. Faint. Almost cold. She could be hurt.]
Jennifer stops when she sees a boy crumpled on the ground, and knows this has to be the maiden. She quickly dashes forward and knees by the boy, praying with all her strength that Ulrike was okay. The boy was pale and ashen looking, and just overall it did not look good. "Ulrike-sama!?" She made sure to talk in a somewhat low voice but she couldn't help how her voice raised in her panic. "Ulrike-same, can you hear me?" She shook the boys arm and waited for his eyes to hopefully open.
[Anissina finds the Maou's mother on the ground near a small boy. She rushes to help. Turning to the maidens, she tells them to find a healer and quickly.]
[She places a hand on Jennifer's back and tries to help comfort her and calm some of the panic in her voice.]
Shibuya-sama, we should take her... him... her... somewhere more comfortable so that the healers can look at her.
[Barely waiting for a reply, she bent down and scooped the tiny boy into her arms, still thankful that she was trapped in a male body. They were so much more useful for lifting and carrying.]
She took a deep breath before nodding to the man and standing up with him, hovering close by with a eye always on Ulrike's body. She realized the boy could be a lot worse then he is so tries to calm down from her initial panic that something had harped to the little boy too.
"A spare bedroom here?" She leads the way to where Rad had stayed not too long ago and notes it's still the way the may most likely left it. She straitens out sheets before pulling them back so Anissina can set the little boy down.
Shibuya-san, are you alright? Were you caught up in the wave?
[Concern marks her features]

I am glad to hear that. So many people were caught in it and are only now recovering.
[Anissina thinks for a second]
I do not believe so. Do you know the way to the Shrine? Would you like me to accompany you?
