Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
...Okay, first, wtf is rangy? ANYWAY! Hinata is TINY! She is short, around 5' 3", and doesn't even weigh 100 lbs XDD She's like 99.2 lbs, lol. However, despite being so tiny, she has a rather ample chest XDD lol.
2. How old is she?
She's 16, both in canon and how I play her.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
She typically slouches, mostly due to her shy and uncertain disposition. She is certainly capable of great posture though.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
She's pretty healthy. Her heart gives her some problems due to her fight with Neji during the Chuunin preliminaries when she was 12 though =\ Sporadically causes her pain. She is incredibly fit though, being a ninja and all.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Looking at her, you wouldn't know it, but Hinata is the epitome of grace. She is nimble, flexible, and poised.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
Hinata is actually quite pretty, but she prefers to hide that behind bulky clothing. She doesn't see herself as pretty at all. She finds herself incredibly plain and unattractive. Silly girl.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
She has very pale skin, though not like vampire pale, just like... How you would imagine a proper lady to be. She has a fair shares of scars here and there from missions, not that they detract from anything.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Her hair is purple, falls down to her mid-back, and is incredibly silky. She typically wears it down, though it will be styled appropriately for special events. She will also pull it back while training/on missions sometimes.
9. What color are her eyes?
WHITE! Well... actually, I picture them more as a very pale lavender that appears white at first glance. You have to look hard to see the true color.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Um.... other than white eyes without pupils? lol. Um... Are we simply talking physically? Well, let me think. She is typically always smiling kindly and blushing, when she isn't worrying that is. She also stutters a good deal, though not as much as she did when she was younger.
11. What are her chief tension centers?
Hinata hunches over a lot, so... I guess her back? And she twiddles her fingers?
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
Bulky and baggy. Hinata doesn't own much of anything that shows off her figure unless it's something as bit fancier. Even then, she tries to keep it simple, not wishing for her wardrobe to cause her to stand out.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
NO! D< They hang all over her and hide her! Though she is comfortable at least =\
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
Yes, lol.
15. You knew it was coming: boy shorts, thongs, panties, or commando?
Boy shorts *nodnod* Also... I had to change this because for girls it should not be boxers, briefs, or commando.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Hinata's voice is high and soft... if that makes any sense. She's very soft spoken.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?
Very soft, hesitating often, stuttering more than most, though as mentioned before not as much as when she was younger. Her voice has a calming affect.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
...How many times have I mentioned stuttering now?
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency?
I would suppose technically Japanese... And quite fluently...
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Not as far as I know.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?
HAHAHA! Impromptu speaker? No, that is not what I would ever call Hinata. She struggles to find her words, especially in any situation where one would be considered an "impromptu speaker".
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Hm... a bit of both? Her vocabulary is refined and she says quite eloquent things, but her shyness causes hesitation and stuttering. What would change this? When her emotions are highly charged.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?
I would say Hinata is quite intelligent, though she doesn't flaunt it. Kind of smarts... Mostly so called "book-smart" though Kiba is trying to help her street smarts.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?
Deliberate, definitely. Not to say she can't think on her feet when the need comes, she just functions much better when thinking thins out.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
I would say... disjointed. How can I explain this? Her thoughts... probably wouldn't make sense to anyone not herself.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Typical ninja training, as well as training to be the head of the Hyuuga clan.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?
Hinata is very good at being a domestic. She's a good dancer, well read, and very graceful. She would love to become a stronger and better fighter though.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert?
INTROVERT!!!
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Hm... I would say her temperament is docile. She is very caring to others.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Hinata is quite timid when it comes to new people, though she is incredibly kind.
9. Is she more likely to act, or to react?
Hm... I think it depends on how passionate she is about it. Though, I think she would TRY to act more so than react because she wants to become stronger.
10. Which is her default: fight or flight?
Hm... Rather, I think she knows how to pick her fights.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Hinata is so shy >< She's a sweet girl, but her sense of humor is lacking. Kiba is trying to fix this, but he tends to embarrass/fluster the girl more than amuse her.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them?
No, she doesn't.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person?
Her fight against Neji. The creation of her own personal jutsu. Expressing her feelings to Naruto.
14. What does she fear?
Failing her father, which she feels she has already done. Just over all being a complete failure. Being someone her sister can't look up to, yet again something she already feels she has done.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations?
She wants to make her father proud and defeat Neji in a fight. She wants to have a family, though it is something she can't do as in my headcanon Hyuuga women die in child birth.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her?
Hm... Just how much of a failure she is. Which she isn't a failure at all, but she feels she is. She doesn't want people to know what a disappointment to the Hyuuga clan she is.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents.
She has never known her mother. Her late step-mother (Hanabi's mother) and her were not particularly close, leaving her with no real mother figure for a very long time until Kurenai-sensei came along. Her relationship with her father is very strained. She was a disappointment to him, and she desperately wants him to be proud of her.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
She had one younger half-sister Hanabi, though the "half" part doesn't matter, as all Hyuuga siblings are half-siblings, with the exceptions of twins, ect. Hinata does not want to be a disappointment in her sister's eyes. She cares deeply for her little sister.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand?
She is close with her older cousin Neji. He used to despise her for being part of the head family. Now, however, they get along quite well. Hinata cares deeply for her cousin and protects him in the only ways she really can. Meaning caring for his injuries and such.
Relations with the rest of the clan are quite strained with few exceptions as she is meant to be the future head of the clan but is weak in their eyes.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them?
Kurenai-sensei is the only mother figure she's ever truly had. She supported Hinata more than her family ever had, and she trained the girl.
Kiba is her best friend and the person she is closest to. She feels most comfortable around him, and he tries to help her come out of her shell.
Shino is sort of like the big brother Hinata never had. She trusts him always to protect her and watch out for her in his stoic way.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Haha, oops. Kiba is Hinata's best friend. They were placed on a gennin team together when they were 12, and grew incredibly close over the years.
6. Does she have other close friends?
Yes. Shino is another very close friend, as discussed above.
7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people?
She has trouble making good friends. She gets along well with others, but it is hard for her to get close with people.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends?
Hm... difficult question. I believe family, despite the fact most of her family does not appreciate her. She simply wishes to make her family proud.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once?
Hinata is a never been kissed virgin, ring event aside. Yes, that required a kiss, but she's never had a kiss with someone she really cares about before.
10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nope.
11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest?
Naruto-kun~ And... Naruto-kun lol.
12. What does she look for in a romantic partner?
Someone who inspires her.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any?
Nope. None of those.
14. Does she have any rivals or enemies?
Not exactly, no. Sakura is perhaps a bit of a romantic rival, but she would step aside.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale?
Oh god.... I was thinking this the other day. I think, honestly, I can't say. In theory, Hinata is straight, but I feel like she would have the ability to be with another female. So I suppose more than anything on the Kinsey scale, she's pansexual.
16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her?
Sex is special to Hinata, only to be shared with someone you love (or your spouse if you have some form of arranged marriage).
17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Turn-ons: confidence
Turn-offs: Cruelty, over-powering
Weird bedroom habits: Um... sex with the lights off? She's too shy and has no experience, so she really doesn't have any of these right now.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? Hinata is a Capricorn. For the most part, Hinata is a pretty exemplary Capricorn. However, Capricorns typically are much more self-assured than Hinata is.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life?
I would say she is none of these things.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Hinata never goes back on her word. This was Naruto's nindo, and it inspired her so that it became hers.
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Hinata is very tolerant of the beliefs of others. She accepts them openly so long as they do not hurt others.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?
I honestly can't say that she has any prejudices...
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Hinata lives comfortably. She works at the jewelry store in Salkia, so her income is a decent one.
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?
In Konoha, she is of high social standing. Future head of one of the most prestigious clans in Konoha. Now in Salkia, Hinata is not in such a high social class, but she isn't very affected by this. If anything, she's freer than before.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?
Hinata lives in an apartment that she shares with Kohane. It's a place that she finds cozy, and she has lived in this particular apartment longer than most. She's rather content there.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on?
Hm... Not a whole lot. Hinata tends to use her money for basic necessities only. The only big exceptions are when there are events on the island for which Hinata needs to buy things. As far as "necessities" go, she spends most of that money on teas.
5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else?
Hinata is first and foremost a shinobi. She is a rather good shinobi, despite her family's thoughts and her own thoughts to the contrary. She also works at Sparkle and Shimmer as a sales assistant. She enjoys this job a decent amount.
6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time?
Hinata spends her free time reading, spending time in nature, and training. ...God this girl needs a life.
7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Hinata typically eats several small, healthy meals a day. She eats very healthily. She doesn't tend to eat junk foods or drink alcohol.
