I haven't posted in forever! Well, my fall boot camp contest ended yesterday. I lost 28 pounds, which is almost TWICE what I lose during the summer contest (and this was 12 weeks, the summer was 14, so I'm super happy).

I'm crazy proud of my shopping trip at hyvee yesterday, so I had to share. Here's what's on my receipt:

- light lemon yogurt
- laughing cow cheese
- frozen veggies: zucchini and yellow squash, edamame, and tiny green beans
- frozen steel cut oatmeal (I didn't know this existed, I hope it's good!)
- 45 calorie whole wheat bread
- wasa crackers
- Just Cran (the cranberry juice Marty tells us to drink 2 ounces of every morning)
- Turkey kielbasa (although I'm angry with Hillshire Farms, they shrunk the package from 16 oz to 14 oz! As if I wouldn't notice? Jerks)
- Gallon storage bags
- Broccoli slaw
- romaine
- 93% lean beef (which I turned into my homemade meatballs, YUMMO!)
- chicken (a whole chicken, currently roasting in the oven to be turned into mock qdoba and Marty's famous lettuce wraps.)

Eating healthy is expensive. The Just Cran alone (a 24 ounce bottle, so it lasts less than two weeks) costs $5.59. If I had gotten the name brand it would have been closer to eight dollars. I spent almost $8 on laughing cow cheese. The total came to $55.43. Luckily, I had my $25 gift certificate from work (our Christmas gifts this year) so I only spent $30.43. AND I'll have meatballs in the freezer all winter, the chicken will keep me in dinners and lunches all week, the turkey sausage is 5 meals all by itself, and the veggies will last forever. But still, oy! I need to clean out Milo's room and post more stuff for sale on BlueBay (our work's version of ebay) to keep myself in cranberry juice.
