the beast
today i hit a dog. :(
don't worry. it's alive and well. it was a huge dog. it and it's owner walked away seemingly fine. it ran onto the middle of byrne road (which is like a highway) and i couldn't just stop as i was in the fast lane. i hoped i wouldn't hit it. i heard it instead. and the car has a lovely new dent. it was wearing a leash - but the owner wasn't holding on to it (otherwise i would've hit a person instead i'm sure).
i know it's not the dog's fault. he can't help himself, i totally blame the owner for this whole incident. it makes me so mad. i'm afraid it has internal injuries and a child is going to wake in the morning and find his or her faithful friend dead...
