I can't remember how long it's been since I posted on Thanksgiving. This is my first Thanksgiving away from home and it's kinda depressing. Not in a "wow, I'm gonna cry" depressing way, but in a "every time I think about it I get mildly upset," kind of way. I'm sitting in my friend caro's living room. We're watching TV. Poor Stephanie doesn't know people very well, so she's sort of on the outs and texting. The Turkey is not going to be done until 8:00 because despite my desire to get dinner done by 3, Kendall wanted it to be 6 and now it's gonna be 8. If it had been three, we'd be done by five... I'm mildly intoxicated, I think this is the first one that I've been able to do that, because my mother is always paranoid that I'm gonna drive to Emily's drunk so I just leave it alone.
