Working hard {or so it feels like it} in a small town in Western Australia, called Denham. It's THE most Westerly town this side of the continent. Sure feels like it. Been here 9 weeks, leaving in a weeks time. Thank jesus. Slowly losing my mind here ( Read more... )

Oh, I keep thinking I updated about that (and my life in general), but I keep forgetting!

It was ... weird. He wanted to take me out for a drink to celebrate something he couldn't make it to. So we meet, order, they ask if we wanna start a tab, we say sure. They say they need a credit card. I wait for him to pull his out, but he doesn't. I finally pull mine out. He paid me back for his drink, but seriously?!

Oh, well. Not too broken up about it. Plenty of fish ...

Ohhh i cant stand that kind of shit. {Sorry bout the late reply!} Im just an old fashioned kind of girl, if you ask me out on a date, i expect you to pay for at least one of my drinks. And the fact that it was under the pretense of 'Hey lets celebrate that thing i couldnt make", means that he should have at least bought you the drink.

As you say, plenty of more fish in the sea.

You've still got 3 months of traveling to do?! You can't even imagine how jealous I am of this behemoth of a trip you're on. It sounds fantastic. Well, minus the vomit. BUT... I could so deal with that if I knew I had a month in Fiji and Bali to look forward to!
