Happy New Year!
Firstly Happy New Year and a belated Happy Christmas!
Christmas was brilliant, got a ton of money for spending on my travels, which i absolutely needed.
I dont think anyone did anything for New Years around where i live, so Gigi and I just sat on her couch and laughed our asses off at the Big Fat Quiz 2008. We didnt even notice it had gone 12, gave each other a quick hug and promptly forgot the reason why we were sitting on her couch. Good times.
Im going to Australia in 2 weeks! Its crazy that this time in 2 weeks i'll be just about to board the flight to Sydney.
After a wee bit of panic, not thinking that the Australian Embassy would be closing over the Christmas period, i finally managed to get my Australian Work Visa. I was pretty much told that there was absolutely no chance in hell that i would get it before the 16th of Jan, and without it i wouldnt be able to enter the country. So i went through a UK based company and they somehow managed to get it for me in 3 days....So i have no idea who was getting it so bloody wrong, but the main thing now is i can enter the country! Woo!
I just need to sort out my travel insurance, but other than that im pretty much all set. Yay. I really cant wait to go now, its gotten so cold lately, a little bit of warmth will do wonders for my skin, its so dry at the moment. Damn you cold weather.
Right i'm off to see which gobshite celebrities have signed up for this years Celebrity Big Brother. I think some chinese food is in order.
