Well, the kitten has a home, and is kinda-sorta-not-really mine. You see, Byron agreed to take him as long as he gets along with our cat. (Since we're moving in with him at the end of June.) So the kitten, now named Rufus is... bonding with our cat.
So, a few flea and tick baths later, and some ear mite medicine, and a little treament of the cut on the inside of his leg, he seems to be taking to the indoor thing rather well. He started eating kitty food and drinking water this morning.
He's a tempermental bugger, and giving poor Doji all kinds of hell. Doji's been soo cute and concerned for him. He was keeping such a close eye on him, and when Rufus fell off the couch he rushed around to see if he was okay. You should have seen the look on his face when Rufus hissed at him. It looked like a little kid who just got shunned by all of his classmates.
I think the two of them will be fine though. They're not acting really violent towards each other. I think they're trying to decide who is the alpha male.
