This is my third week off work, and I basically sleep about 16 hours a day--spread into about 3 naps, usually. Jake gets us food, mostly, or we go out for a little while; my cooking blog is totally suffering. :> Hopefully I can get back on that horse soon, though.
My eyes are WAY better! I'm still doubling if I lead with my left eye, but as long as I favor my right one I can watch TV with no eyepatch and hopefully can drive my car soon. I still have a Sixth Nerve Palsy, but I'm hoping it's going to clear itself up.
I'm taking the Mestinon generic, and it sometimes seems to be helping and other times not. I guess that's kind of normal, though.
I've been reading a good bit (finished Mrs. Dalloway, finally among others) and now am half-way through Ender's Game and am enjoying it alot. I avoided it all these years (beginning when I worked at a bookstore in high school) b/c I thought it would be really technical sci-fi and not as much story. Happily for me, it is not like that; the tech stuff is important, but I'm liking the story very much.
In other news, I got a black MacBook, and now that
exblogger fixed my iTunes I am SO happy! It's weird letting go of the overly-complicated, Windows way of doing things; but it's getting easier every day.
