I also got a new bookcase at a junk shop. It's real wood (even though exblogger thinks it's pine plywood), and I've got to strip off this fugly dark green paint and stain it.
- Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass Whipped Cream & Other Delights--Rewhipped. I remember my parents listening to their LP version of the original album and digging it. This one is, I think, a very very good update.
- Nina Simone Just Like a Woman: Nina Simone Sings Classic Songs of the 60's and like it very much. Her voice is so rich and fantastic, and it is a nice change on these often overplayed hits of the 60's.
