Beauty School Newbie
So today was my second day of cosmetology school at LaBaron Academy! So far I really like it. I'm there from 9-230 everyday. I've made a couple friends (considering my group upstairs only consists of like 7 of us & most are all gangsta lol). Right now (and for the next 240 hours of school) I'm upstairs in the theory room. There we learn book work and practice alot on our manakins. Basically its the room everyone starts in before they go downstairs on the floor to do real clients and such. (By the way i cant WAIT to get down on the floor). Today in school we learned about facials, makeup and manicures. My friend Christina did my manicure and it came out pretty damn good I must say. They're like a dark purpley red shade. The makeup lesson stuff I actually DIDNT like as much as I thought I would. The book learning part was imformative but most of it I already know. And I almost DIED right there when this girl Kim yelled out "So what IS concealer?!"....I almost threw up on her lol. We also did practice state board test makeup on eachother under the watchful eye of Mrs. H....which sucked too. The makeup was basic beginners crap (which is mostly all u need 2 kno for the State Board liscensing exam I guess). So I was a tad annoyed. Otherwise...things are going well in school. I'm getting used to it and finding my way pretty quickly considering I JUST started. :D
Tommorrow shall be fun. I have dance after school and hopefully me & lauren will go out and do some fun stuff...unless Chris dearest calls me otherwise lol. Speaking of my darling red head...
SAturday me, him, Whitcomb & Lauren hung out over Whitcombs house and watched the football game. It was really fun. Whitcomb & Lauren FINALLY snuggled and I was REALLY excited for this! lol Believe me we've all been pushing this cuz they like eachother alot. We also played with swords and freaked Chris out, which was HILARIOUS lol. Me & Chris snuggled too of course and did alot of kissing. I decided our kisses are the best I've EVER had. Not too little and too cold...not too much and too messy (which i've dealt with in the past *shudder*). Just right. It sounds really cheesy but I love our kisses. They're so sweet yet so passionate and perfect. Ok I must stop myself at the risk of sounding too silly...lol. But what can I say? Me & Lauren have officially decided Chris IS George Weasley come 2 life.
Sunday me & Lauren went to see Harry Potter for the third and maybe most emotional time (i dunno, my first time seeing it with annie & everyone was PRETTY powerful). I love that movie and would see it 3 more times if I could. It's just so damn GOOD. It's funny, exciting, scary, thrilling, tragic, EVERYTHING. It's just the best Harry Potter yet, Hands down. What else can I say? After that we went to get sundaes with my mum and went school shopping 4 me. "All I need now is an owl...a wand..." LOL (funny moment).
And now for all of you...inside jokes/quotes that have accumlated...(mostly saturday/over the weekend)
