OMG am I exhausted. It was totally worth it though - last night was amazing. I am FAR too tired to write a full recap right now, so I'm just going to do a photo/video dump and do a full writeup on my
blog later this week. But a few highlights:
• Theme was 80s night - so it was a LOT of fun to see what other people were wearing (I kind of went with it - I wore skinny jeans and chucks with a drapey shirt, blue eyeliner/shadow and big earrings).
• The band is so so nice. Shannon TOTALLY gave me the 'once over' and checked me out when he was talking to me. Security was really great, the guy who was running the meet and greet was great and flexible to what we wanted and what the band wanted. And the fans that I met were amazing. I did want to rip the damn animal on Jared's head off though.
• The show was amazing. I REALLY want to go again and this time be in the pit. We were kind of far away but the seats were free so I wasn't bitching. And the arena wasn't that big, so it was fine. Jared was hysterical and Shannon played drums shirtless. Kings and Queens was so freaking epic - everything I thought it would be an then some. I got a bunch of stuff on video, in which I will share here and apologize NOW for the jumpiness in Kings & Queens and The Kill - and the shakiness on everything else.
Ok, pictures first, then video.
