UGH
So yesterday was kind of annoying to say the least. I took the SAAB in to the shop to get my windows fixed. Mine came out of track and the passenger one just didn't work at all. They called the SAAB dealership, which was right down the road to order the parts. It took SAAB 2 freakin hours to bring the parts down to my mechanic. Needless to say, I was starving and needed to eat. So my sales guy drove me down to BK to get a chicken sandwich. Came back and my mechanic has fixed both windows..........or so I think. My window had to have new rollers put in, which came from SAAB and then the passenger window was unpluged. So he plugged it back into the motor and it worked fine.
So Dusti met me last night to go to my Xmas party for work, (BRAINFART, he also took me out for a birthday dinner the other night at a place called FIGO'S, which was AWESOME). Anyhoo, on my way home last night, I rolled down the passenger window, and BAM, that fucker is now coming out of track. Guess I need to get the rollers for it from SAAB as well. Looked kinda easy to fix though. I dunno. Thank gawd I didn't have to pay anything yesterday to my mechanic at the dealership. I think I may start naming this car, THE SCANDINAVIAN NIGHTMARE!!!
On another note, the past two days have been pretty productive and all. I got a phone call on Thursday from a client whose PC I had worked on a few times. She wanted me to go to her job, a lady's fitness club, and look at the one over there. So I drove over to Woodstock and looked at it. I'll say too, I felt like fresh meat to the Desperate Housewives women working out over there, but they were too nice and kinda funny. So it looks like they are going to use me to do some serious IT work. FREELANCING BABY, YEEEYAH!! And, after talking with Greg, I can make some seriously good money from it. Plus I made $50 just to go in and look. WURD, they should be calling me back within the next week.
And lastly, to my girl madame_foo.......I will need you to go to my MYSPACE homepage and check out the video that is currently up. Tell me if you remember watching that with me YEARS ago or what?? TOO FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!
