the truth just breaks my heart...
Season 5 of Criminal Minds in my opinion has to be the most emotional season thus far. There were so many tear jerking moments that either made me go Awwwwwww or had me flat out crying crocodile tears - I mean sobbing uncontrollably...I think I may be to invested in this show - is that unhealthy? Anyway, to add to my healthy - I mean unhealthy obbsession. I'm narrowed down 5 moments from Criminal Minds: Season 5 - Get it? 5 for 5? And to my credit - I did not cry.
S521 - EXIT WOUNDS - WATCH
MOMENT #5 - "I'm scared Derek, I don't want to lose why I'm just so I can do this job."
This moment comes in on my list at number five only because I love Morgan and Garcia. Actually, that's not the only reason, but it's a major reason. This scene right here is about as adorable as they come, and it shows Morgan and Garcia at there best. You've got Garcia who continues to grow as a character each and every time she's away from her computers and you've got Morgan who continues to try to protect her, uplift her and encourage her. Garcia's comment about not wanting to change who she was broke my heart, and I loved that Morgan pointed out that the only change in her was that she was growing stronger. Not to mention the ending was completely squeal worthy, I mean seriously? If I was writing Criminal Minds Morgan and Garcia would be a couple....I'm just saying...it's a good thing I love them just the way they are also.

MOMENT #4 - "It's just not fair."
I've loved all of Derek and Emily's scenes together, they're usually funny, but I loved this one because Derek guessed right away that Emily was upset about the little girl and went to tell her she was going to be okay. The ending of the conversation was my favorite part though when Derek says that he's still amazed by all the good and Emily asks him if he thinks it evens out and he says that he likes to think it does. This is not the first time this conversation has been had throughout the seasons with different members, but I really liked this one. Derek is like a big brother to everyone on the team and I love how he always goes to comfort or uplift any member of the team who is down whether it be Emily, Reid, or Garcia. That is what makes him one of the most amazing characters on the show.
S513 - RISKY BUSINESS - WATCH
MOMENT 3 - "One day you'll remember her and you won't hurt. You'll be happy."
Okay, so I lied, I still watch this scene and I cry, especially when JJ gets to that line above. I cry because I apply that line to my life. I lost someone unexpectedly three years ago and I'm still waiting on that moment where you don't hurt. Where you are just happy and I haven't gotten there yet. I loved this scene because it answered my question of "When does it go away?" The answer, one day. I look forward to that one day.
S510 - THE SLAVE OF DUTY - WATCH
MOMENT #2 - "Oh dry the glistening tear, that dews that marshal cheek, thy loving children hear, in them thy comfort seek, with sympathetic care, their arms around thee creep, for oh they cannot bear, to see their father weep."
Well, I don't know anyone who likes a funeral, so this just automatically made it on the list because it was a funeral. That's not the only reason, but still...I don't know about any of you but I cry at funerals. Real funerals, fake funerals...ummmm...I mean TV Show funerals (because I would hope no one is just having a fake funeral...weird). I loved this scene because it showed what a family our little team is, everyone was there - they were there from the beginning. Even that dreaded Strauss won some brownie points with me in the episode. Emily, JJ, and Garcia broke my heart with there tears and at the end where little Jack blew a kiss to his mommy was just precious.
S509 - 100 - WATCH
MOMENT #1 - "Haley, show him no weakness. No fear."
If you didn't see this coming then I don't know what show you were watching. I can honestly say that I cried like a baby while watching this scene. I mean I had the tissues flying and I'm proud of myself that I'm not crying now. I have no words to even describe this scene - this episode and I won't even try. Hats off to the Criminal Minds team for giving us an unbelievable episode.
