Today in my French class, it suddenly struck me
It is SO WEIRD
how we are all sitting in this room
all aware of what the others are saying
of what we are supposed to do
and we fidget, and we participate
But who here can see a single other person at this moment?
We sit within mere feet of each other, but I swear we're all blind
Are we all too caught up in our little minds
our distractions
our perceptions
to see the people that sit in this very room?
We are here together, with no one else in the world
We share this moment in life
This one amazing hour, every day of the week
Will we always let it pass so...passively?
