Tyler left yesterday for his skiing/snowboarding trip with his friend Will to Steamboat Colorado. He won't be back until next Monday!!! EEEEK!! If only I had more girlfriends that lived in town, I could have such a fabulous party this weekend.
Today I have opted for organizing my pantry and then got into a kick of organizing all of my kitchen cabinets, moving things around, bought baskets from target, organizing my place mats (which placemats are a fetish of mine).... so hopefully it will all be wonderful.
School starts tomorrow (boooo) not excited about my lineup of classes.
Psychotherapy Theory and Research (boring)
Multicultural Counseling (actually boring)
Biological Basis of Behavior (ach, taking it at the Sugar Land campus)
External Practicum - horray, going to the UT mental science insitute to give my free time this spring and summer, 20+ hours a week to work on a research study that uses different type of therapy with drug users. Yay I get to counsel drug users! At least I will get the feel of it, and seriously learn Cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, as well as the SKDS which is like some amazing assessment system. hrm.
so it all begins! take a deep breathe! I can make it through it.
and NO I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO DO WHEN I GRADUATE, I sure wish the world would stop asking.
The last day of my real job was last Friday. It was sad, surreal... after 5 and a half years. Not sure how the next few weeks will sink in, you know, all that not having an income or any stability thing. yuck! I miss my coworkers =(
