All getting Better
I was really dreading work yesterday. With everything that was happening, I just didn't want to deal with the stress of people's bull.
Jane was in the store and she is always so much fun. Her customer service is AWESOME.
Ruchelle talked to me before she went home and I told her that I was considering Nicole's offer. But, that I didn't really want to to go. She said she hated to loose me but really understood if I didn't want to be there anymore. I told her that part of reasoning for wanting to stay was that I didn't think that leaving was going to help at all. I know that when her old assistant comes in, they are going to have the same problems with her that they have with me. She seemed to agree, but said that this other girl is more outspoken than me and won't put up with it. She also said that if certain people have a problem working with me, that they know where the door is. That was very reassuring. She said that after everything that happened at the Christmas party she went back and talked to Erin to find out exactly how her being a lesbian had even come up. Erin said it was because Alexia had said something to her about it. There is the problem right there. I told her that I was sorry for leaving the discussion early on Wednesday, but that I didn't see how any of what was being said was relevant. She said that she was glad that I left and that it really wasn't fair for me to get blamed for everything. She also said that she had Erin talk to Kristy and explain Alexia's involvement.
Piper called in sick, and Amy was supposed to work instead. I was a little nervous about that. When Amy came in she was so sweet and apologized and said that Erin had told her the whole thing. I told her I understood how that mistake could be made. She said that she had two people (Kristy and Alexia) telling her that I had gone to Ruchelle and told her that stuff.
This whole job is just flat out bull shit. But, I don't get paid to get along with anybody, and I don't get paid to be liked. I just am at the point where I don't even care anymore.
I brought home a TON of returns to log. There was a huge stack of them that Alexia hadn't done that I need to give to her and have her do. I'm kind of interested to see how that turns out.
