Merry Christmas to ALL! (and Happy Holidays)
I know this is a little belated, but I've been working a lot and doing other fun things, like reconstructing my room after my closet exploded. Yay for having too many clothes?
I had a nice Christmas with my family at home. No travelling this year; we were supposed to, but it didn't work out. I got some fun presents. Among them are Emily the Strange yoga pants w/ cat eyes on the rear end and red letters that say "don't cross my path," VeggieTales fruitsnacks, a jacket, and Lord of the Rings calendar. Antoinette and Brian gave me really cool Star Wars themed gifts: a Galactic Empire patch, a Jedi Training Academy t-shirt and key ring, and...(suspense) a real Anakin Skywalker lightsaber, complete with sound effects!!! SO COOL!
Now that vacation is almost over, I have to start thinking about school related things like studying for the GKT and ordering my textbooks on Amazon. Part of me is glad to get back to normal, and part of me wants a "real" vacation, i.e. not spending 37 hours working retail. But the check on Friday will be nice, I guess. Maybe I'll finally buy those $90 shoes.
