Laughs and Pains

"Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible - it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could."
--Barbara DeAngelis

I have to start with my blonde moment that will be with me for the rest of my life.... Mt. Pleasant.

Me, Jared, and his parents were playing Taboo. Jared was describing to me and he had the word Mt. Rushmore. He started off saying, there are the number over 3 craniums on this structure out west in the Rockies.... I couldn't think of the name. Then all of the sudden, I got really excited and went OH! ..... MT. PLEASANT! The whole room got quiet and it was almost like time stopped. Jared layed down the timer and everyone started cracking up. To be honest, I had no idea why they were laughing at me until Jared said, umm Mt. Pleasant is in Michigan. I was so embarrassed. But it was a good moment. Then Mr. Litty with his classic comment.... "Speaking of turkeys..." I don't know about you, but I'm sure no one said anything about a turkey this whole time. Got a crack outa that. Oh, and we're not done yet. They all started talking like Nazis, with the accents and everything. Just as  I took a drink of my water, Mr. Litty said something really funny. I tried not to laugh cuz my mouth was full of water, so I started choking. I ran over to the sink, but before I could get there, I was a human fountain. Yes, water was spit everywhere. It was hilarious. Some good times with those games...

Rachelle and I went to see Jersey Girl yesterday. The all around movie was good, but it was pretty naughty. I was surprised. Very funny part.... One of the "uncles" was talking about how he wasn't that smart, and he says "Yea, I'm not the sharpest spoon in the shed." Oh my goodness, I cracked up for the longest time about that one. After the movie, we went home cuz I had to go thro my many pairs of shoes. And I mean many! I took pictures of all the shoes I had; Jared said there were 68. Yea, no joke. Then off to Jared's house to watch The GA Tech and UCONN game. Of course, UCONN won. It was a rather boring game. (Andy) "We have to wait for the song at the end." (Jae) "What song?" (Andy) "Umm, I don't know...." and he hangs his head down like andy, Oh bother. lol. You just had to be there.

Chelle slept over. We woke and entertained the kids for a while. Then I went tanning. Used my dad's strong lotion. And let me tell you....I'M FRIED! He told me that it wouldn't hurt, cuz I used this lotion this one time and it made you feel like you had 1,000,000 pins in you after you were done. So I trusted him... I'm pretty sure that after the first like 2 minutes you're in the tanner and your face is burning, it's a bad thing. I got out; my whole body is beat red! And it hurts. Rachelle and my mom got a good laugh outa it. Hopefully it goes away soon and turns brown, or else a lot more people will be laughing.

I was supposed to work again today, but dad's getting sick. So it never happened. I guess I don't mind, but I would like to get in some hours. On the other hand, more time to hang out with Jared. No complaints there.

I'm out...
Y'all have a good day!
