Back into Fanfiction
I've decided to write a Harry Potter fanfic. It will be a Harry Potter/Aladdin crossover, since I haven't seen too many of those, and the ones that I have seen aren't quite what I was looking for. Creative, yes, and the one that the author said was supposed to be full of crack had me laughing my ass off, but there's something I wanted to experiment with.
I'm not worried about the Aladdin elements, since this will take place at Hogwarts, and not Agrabah, but I want to make sure I get the elements of the Hogwarts universe right. I don't own the books, because I borrowed them when I was reading them, but I do know of some webpages to help me out. Also, I'm hoping that those of you who are into Harry Potter can help me out. I don't want to disrupt what happened in the books (I'm not a huge fan of "what if" fanfics) and I don't want to use a character that was obviously killed off. As sad as I was when Cedric was so mercilessly killed, it is what it is, and there's too much "wasn't really dead" already.
Anyway, I will let you all know when I post my first chapter.
