So as you probably might've guessed, Doctor Who is one of those shows that's been airing overseas for quite a while. So today, I decided to look up the seiyuus (Japanese voice actors) to see if there was anyone in the dubs I knew from animes I've seen.
Sarah Jane Smith is voiced by Aya Hirano. AKA, Haruhi Suzumiya.
For those of you who don't know, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a series about a high school girl who is bored with the world and is constantly searching for time-travelers, aliens, and ESPers (also, every fan has done this dance at LEAST once).
The Doctor is a time-traveling alien who can read minds.
GUYS THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE.
Also, feel free to skim through the translated page for a few laughs. Probably my favorite is the Seventh Doctor being described as "40 men and five teenagers." Likewise, the Tenth Doctor is "30 men in their early teens."
