Why do I have to make everything gay?

Okay.

So I have to see Wooster's performance of Comedy of Errors for two of my classes, so today I sat myself down with a can of Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper and the play and read through the whole thing in one sitting. It took me EXACTLY 2 hours. This is the fourth complete work of Shakespeare I've read and his second comedy.

Now, I'm not sure how many of you know this (I'm not going back to look for an entry about it), but when we read Julius Caesar in 10th grade I just could NOT shake the tension between Brutus and Cassius. I mean, seriously, they were using the word "lover" WAAAAAAAAY too much.

Now the Jeeves and Wooster fandom has ruined master/servant relationships for me.

So when I found out that there were TWO of them in this play...

...yeah.

Did anyone else notice that the Antipholus's were prone to frequently beating their respective Dromios?

Like, a lot?

And Dromio of Ephesus seemed strangely okay with it.

I am going to have to ease this from my mind, as the performance is next week and Malcolm is playing Dromio of Syracuse.
