The Daily Boost’s Presents-
"A Time for Tea" formally invites you to Afternoon Tea. We will be celebrating the launch of our new tea party business and hope you will be able to join us on April 14th at 12pm.
Originally started in the United Kingdom, Afternoon tea is a light meal typically eaten between 3pm and 5pm, however, changes in social customs and working hours mean that most Britons only take afternoon tea on special/formal occasions.
We will be serving the traditional loose tea would be served in a teapot with milk and sugar. This will be accompanied by various tea sandwiches, scones and small cakes.
We do ask for $15 per person or $12 for groups of 10 to help cover costs.
Please RSVP and pay in advance to hold your seat no later than April 10th. We do accept PayPal orders if sent to ruhiikarmali@gmail.com.
There will also be a crew filming a special on The Daily Boost that day, which won an award for Best Coffee & Tea in San Mateo County. The special will air in Mid May of 2009.
