It's been a while...oops
So the past few weeks have been kinda crazy and I haven't been able to update, so I'll make up for it now while I'm in class.
I went to NYC the weekend before springfest to see my bestest friend ever and it was great! I met some new people, got to hang out with a newer PC member, and had an all around good time. We went to the HUGE toys-r-us...we were on ESPN in times square...we had a great lunch at Bubba Gumps....we did a whole lotta walking...the weather was georgeous...and all and all I can't wait to see my bestest again during the summer...JESS I MISS YOU!!!
Then on Monday we had a day off where I helped Allie with touch-a-truck, which was such an amazing experience because I love working with kids and seeing how happy they were made it even better then I could have imagined. It was a ton of fun and I applied to work at jumpstart next semester.
Tuesday kicked of springfedst week and I was super excited for the drive in movie and the start of this whole crazy week. Along came Polly was soooo good and I had so much fun hanging out with all the PC gals and guys working at the tables during the movie. Some people at this school really make me giggle, especially when they do a dance with glow necklaces. The movie went over great...Angela did wonderful...the weather was great...and Amy didn't even burn the popcorn!!
Wednesday was our day off, but I was still doing every last minute thing possible for the carnival. It was crazy, but relaxing all at the same time. I couldn't wait for Thursday and BSC unplugged.
Thursday came along and the weather was amazing!!! BSC unplugged was great, good music and friends, and a break from thinking about the carnival and the crappy weather that was being predicted. I really feel like I never left the office last week. Sleeping there probably would have been a smart idea.
Friday morning I woke up and cried....it was raining...of all days to rain it rained on my carnival. So I got up, made the rain call, and headed to the office to get everything started. Thank god for Amy and all my e-board girls support, and my amazing sub-committee, without them I'd probably be hospitalized in some mental institution somewhere. The carnival went better then I could have expected having to have moved it inside and set it all up in around 3 hours. It went well, and I was finally able to go home and sleep before the concert...but not before my Christine and Steph came over for ice cream and fun.
Saturday morning came...WOOO HOOO springfest concert!!!! The show was amazing...the people were amazing...the friendships and everything about that day were great. I can't wait to do it all again next year...and I'm kinda sad its over, but I'm ready for next semesters planning...BRING IT ON!
This week has been pretty relaxed, went to Open Mic Monday for a while...always a good time, Tuesday was meetings and the funniest lip sync I've ever seen...YEAH Greek Week, Wednesday I had a movie date with Miss Jess Doyle....we watched Pirates WOOOOOO...maybe we can have another date soon and Amy can come too!
OK time for my tutorial!!!!
