1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23. (I went from the back of the book because I'm evil. mawhahaha)
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal...along with these instructions.

They passed a stretch of tall, looming buildings, abandoned and lonely, bounded by a high brick wall.
(Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman)

At eleven o' clock the phone rang, and still the figure did not respond, any more than it had responded when the phone had rung at twenty-five to seven in the morning, again at twenty to seven, again at ten to seven, and again for ten minutes continuously starting at five to seven, after which it had settled into a long and significant silence, disturbed only by the braying of police sirens in a nearby street around nine o' clock, the delivery of a large eighteenth-century dual manual harpsichord at around nine fifteen, and the collection of the same by bailiffs at a little after ten.
(The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul by Douglas Adams)

---------------------

I picked two because they were stacked together on the table next to me and I felt like it. :p I SWEAR I didnt make the second one up. :p The fifth sentence was the last one on the page, and it carries on until the middle of the other side of the page. Hehe. I love Dougls Adams.
