(no subject)
Someone informed me the other day that he misses reading my posts, so I thought I'd update. I don't know why I stopped, I guess I just felt like there wasn't really anything exciting to say. There still isn't, but I miss writing.
I'm done with my classes, and I start student teaching on January 2nd! I'm moving down to Lakewood to live with my momma on Wednesday, and I'm pretty excited but at the same time I'm sad. I've met some amazing people in the past few months and I don't want to leave them. I'm finally feeling like part of the Flanagan family, and Kerrie (the mom) told me a few days ago that I didn't ever have to leave. But, I supposed it's all part of growing up and moving on, and it isn't like I'm that far away. I'll be back a few times for seminar too.
I made gingerbread houses with the kids today...I was taking a nap because I had a pretty late night, and Kerrie knocked, asking if she could have one of the yummy alcoholic beverages I'd brought home last night (early this morning?). She always knows when something is wrong, but she won't push me to talk about it, and today she asked if I'd just like to join them in making gingerbread houses, and it was so much fun. I turned off my phone and forgot about everything, listened to Christmas music, and ate frosting. Lots of frosting.
Hmm what else? There's this girl...isn't there always? Haha...
She is special. She makes my heart beat fast when I'm 2 feet away from her, and when our hands accidentally-on-purpose touch, I swear fireworks go off. Am I just a hopeless romantic? Yes. But she is different. I haven't felt this way since Veronica. The only problem? I'm leaving in less than a week, and in 2 months of this skating around each other, she finally kissed my cheek last night. It's good though. Going painfully slow is good. ::SIGH::
I think that's about it. Sponge Bob is on and Delaney watches it really loud and I'm getting iritated, so I'm gonna go snuggle in my warm room and read my book 'til it's time to go do something!
