The New York Trip
We arrived here on Wednesday the 5th of November. Being in New York City was like being in downtown Denver. People were really nice but pushy and always in a hurry to go nowhere fast.
The conference was a total waste of money... Go figure... But turned out ok I guess... I competed in Sports & Entertainment Marketing and turned out to be the only one from Utah that competed in this specific event. Well at first I thought my group was going to be a giant failure, cause didn't seem like anyone wanted to do anything or even share any ideas. I couldn't even get them to exchange room numbers so we could contact each other to meet and work on our project. We went on two tours to help us with out events. One was with an off Broadway playhouse where we listened to the Alter Boyz Production Manager, the Producer of the play, and the playhouse manager tell us about the place and the play itself. Second, was the Radio City Music Hall where we went on a very detailed tour and got to see parts of the Rockette's perform their opening night shows. Did I mention it rained the whole time were were there!! sucks!! I posted massive pictures of our trip.. check them out..hehe
