So it is Tuesday, and Hurrah for that! I am brokey broke, but still managing to have a rip roaring good time. This weekend was, in a word, a blast. Corb Lund at the Edmonton Event Centre was spectacular! It was fun seeing the parents letting loose, even though they all but abandoned me to go have a seat. I stayed up front, noticed myself being oggled by five equally attractive gentleman that were hanging about in front of me (though I did not get the nerve up to talk to the Taylor Lautner lookalike that was exchanging glances with me the entire evening), and did some fantastic two stepping, six hours spent in heels and I am quite proud of myself. Saturday = Firefly Marathon!!!! 14.5 hours of eating nothing but cookie dough and icing (or cookie dough dipped in icing), chips, cheesecake, and chocolate; as well as consuming copious amounts of Coca Cola. I love hanging out with the guys, and I plan to post pictures on my beloved facebook --hour by hour updates of our wondrous exploits. I did drift in and out of consciousness during the final hour of Serenity, but we were nearing five A.M. and I don't think you can really blame me.
Sunday was... of course... Hockey. And all of the edge of your seat, nail biting action that accompanies that. Yes, it was spectacular, and yes, I am proud to be Canadian! I started a new project for Art, of the dog when he was but a pup, I am going to do one just in pencil and then if that turns out decent do another in paint. Fingers crossed! And working out every day seems to be paying off! 62 kg and counting... because Wii Fit doesn't seem to be able to measure in pounds, but I don't care, even with my inhalation of nothing but sugar and caffeine on Saturday, I am still getting to where I want to go.
I'm thinking of actually making these details of my exploits an actual blog... that is to say chronicles of a journey. I'm debating circulating it around something corny like how to find happiness or ... I'm not sure, suggestions? Maybe I'll figure something out... or maybe it will continue to be nothing but an insight into my most bizarre and decidedly random thoughts.
P.s. To

harleyscot, and
phantom_shade , y'all missed out out on Saturday, and I miss you all!
