There is something within her, shining so brightly that the exuberant glow would have outshone the twinkling, Tennessee skyline -- the smoldering sign of Nashville nightlife, the glittering diamond stars in the blackest, midnight blanket over the rolling mountains of the countryside. The flame she held inside had been so much more than these. By and by, it had grown within her safely harbored soul, overtaking the beauty around her until it well exceeded the terrestrial wonders around her. She was incomparable, down into the deepest fibers of her being. In comparison, earthly splendor seemed to have been extinguished and paled in the her wake. This disparity, the deep gulf created betwixt her spirit and anything juxtaposed against it, sometimes enveloped her in isolation. Self-induced by genuine goodness, a bubble of sunshine bobbed along around her for so long that it had drawn a bold, dividing line between the angelic creature and the hardened and cold surrounding world. It was never her intention, nor had her intentions ever been to establish clearly segmented realms of right and wrong, but she so intrinsically bound herself to good that she could not submit to any true contradiction to it. She found the evils in the distortion of the newly emerging humanity and then found them doubly incomprehensible. Without a single inkling of inclination towards the motives which had begun to consume mankind in his own selfish and superficial desires, she was unable to understand them.
