Things aren't great at home, but that's par for the course. Beans told me that she's not going to be able to move to California until her new apartment lease runs out--in OCTOBER of NEXT YEAR. (Oh Jesus Christ...Dustin Diamond did a *Dirty Sanchez* in his sex tape?! God, the visual!! It BURRRRNS!!) So that means that I need to get the fuck out of my house. I've got an interview with the job coordinator or whatever for the temp agency that Audra works for on Monday, but I have to figure out how the hell to use Excel. I've never used it. I've made tables on Word, but that was for things like Chemistry, back in high school. I'll probably head over to the apartment tomorrow after work and ask one of those kids how the hell to do it. Coz I have to take a proficiency test in that before the interview, and presumably, I have to do well on it to get a job.
I made five supers this month at work, which is the most I've ever made. We were in doubles today and yesterday, which means that any comission I made was doubled. So that $60 comission I got yesterday turned into $120 and the $100 comission I made yesterday turned into $200. The government will take a shit-ton of my check in two weeks, but it'll still be enough to make some payments...even if they're a little late. ...Christ, I need this second job.
In other news, those who didn't go to Mick's on Wednesday missed a BANGING jam session--bag pipes, human beatbox, jazz improv singer, and African drum....I'm sorry. My parents just DRUNK DIALED ME. AGAIN. What the hell is with my parents and drunk dialing me?! Does anyone else's parents do this? And why did Brandon Flowers grow that cheesy, seventies-child-molester mustache?! He's so attractive...why'd he ruin his face?
ANYGAY--Lucy and I are now super-regulars at O'Shea's. Our waitress, Kelley, knows us by name, knows our regular drink orders (Malibu and Coke for me; Vodka and cranberry juice for Beans), and usually gives us a round for free. We tip her exceptionally well. She's getting to know Evan and Ben too, and their loves of Guinness, which is fun. So if anyone wants to come next Wednesday and see the bagpipe jam band again, feel free. I work until 10, so we don't usually get there til 10:30 or so, but Evan and Ben usually show up a bit earlier, coz they don't have to wait for Lucy to do her damn hair. Come join us, the most popular girls at the best bar in Baltimore.
Speaking of bars, Lucy is convinced that we're going to go to Slammers, our Fells Point bar, tomorrow night to pay another visit to Jake Steele, irresponsible yet adorable bartender. If anyone can come who can either A) keep me sober enough to drive or B) drive for me after I inevitably get tanked and puke somewhere, I'd appreciate it. We can't say no to free drinks at Slammers, and they just keep coming and coming.
Back to humping Lucy to keep her awake.
