Lately, i've only been updating on weekends and going over the week. I do try to come here during the weekdays but this week I've been jammed with the books and school. I had to try extra hard to get all my work done so I wouldn't have anything to do for the week. My paper was due, finally it's over. Huge test in history. I'm done with test's and the history book as of..now! Yes! I had Science Word's of The Day Quizes. Hopefully that will bring up my science grade. My history grade was low at the moment becasue we hadn't been doing tests. I hope I didn't bomb that last test, but thruthfully I didn't know anything on those chpaters because he rushed us so fast through those. It makes me so mad how arrogent he is. Well on to the better facts of life...
On Tuesday my brouchure for Curlee was due. Thank goodness that's over to. Yea I made my first A in language for this year. Actually quite suprizing. Always making B's with Curlee cause she just doesn't assign stuff. And she doesn't teach. SO she assigns things that she expects common sense to know. Surpizing i must lack it. But a whole lot of other's get high B's with me.
On Thursday... Was Mrs.G's Sunshine award day for her! Wes the weather man from channel 2 flew the hellicopter over to our school and taped us screaming "what's the weather like wes?" and other stuff. Then he presented the award to Mrs.Goodwin. She was happy. And Symphonic and other kids were out there. Then we got to sing for the news and all. So go us! It was quite exciting though. Congratualtions to Mrs.G! (BEST TEACHER ALIVE!)
But on Thursday Mr.Erwin made a comment about how Mrs.G doesn't deserve that award. And this other teacher does. And all of us got offended we were like arguing with him. I mean Mrs.Goodwin does so much for us. And she's our friend. She does it all. And she's a mother to all of us. She acutally cares unlike other teachers.
On Saturday morning at 5a.m. I had to be at school to leave for San Antonio for another choir competition. We slept on the bus for like 5 - 7 and then like everyone was awake on the bus. The guys were on the other bus and so was the younger choir. We got to San Antonio around 9 a.m. Mrs.Wright's younger choir got on stage and performed first. Then Symphonic did. Then treble girls did. Then the boys did. Then the younger choirs treble, and boys choir did. After that it was about 2p.m. we left to Fiesta Texas and got to spend the day (aaaaaaaaawh it was awesome KNICKERS!!! Cracking the cheese and all. LMAO!) We got soaked on all the water rides though. Awww the fun! LOL We were all freezing. Then at 8p.m. we went to the awards ceremony. Well our school got Superior (that's like getting 1's at U.I.L except no sightreading) we got Suprieror for our symphonic girls, symphonic guys, and symphonic together (mixed) so 3 trophies there. Then Mrs.Wright's choir got 3 trophies to. Then they had Outstanding for triple C. (That's us) League City got it (thats us) and then Outstanding in class (LC) and Outstanding was (LC) again. LOL! Then the younger group got that to. So we came home with a total of 13 trophies. The most we could get. We left the park at 9:30 p.m. and drove back to League City. We got back at 1:15... I slept (well like the whole bus did) all the way home.
I got the Seal CD. And Twista's single for overnight cleberity. And that Dido song "I will no surrender" one. On my Seal CD. Yes I bought from itunes. LOL!
Well later days!!
