This Weekend
I had a lovely weekend while the kidlet spent some time with juice_weasel. I spent Saturday picnicking and roaming around the most lovely cemetery with an old friend. It was in Colma and had quite a large number of crypts, and tons (literally) of beautiful statuary. Sunday I just lazed around most of the day, but I did get some work done for my mom before picking up the kidlet. Then yesterday was the first of our furlough days. Yay! Well, sort of. Anyway, the kidlet and I ran some errands in the morning and then headed out to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. We spent a couple of hours on the beach, and then took advantage of the seventy five cent rides that happen after 5pm on Mondays & Tuesdays. All in all it was lovely, and I have only four more days in the work week. Score!
