[There's some buzzing of static, and the sound of someone fumbling with the device in their hands.]

Ah-- ow. That kind of hurt. [And then there's the sound of someone getting to their feet, with a rustling of fabric.]

This isn't the Islands... but that was supposed to be the end of it. How did I get here?

...oh! I think this thing is on-- Sora! Riku?

[Okay. Familiar voice! But...]

[princessatsea]

[...that can't be right.] Is that-

/done!

[princessatsea]

...Roxas?

[onlytwilight]

You shouldn't... I...

[A pause.]

Welcome to World's End. I'm...sorry you have to be here. Tell me what's around you, and I'll come find you.

[princessatsea]

World's End? What's that? [But how did she even get off the Islands this time?]

-I'm near these buildings with blue rooftops. [And hopefully you have some explanations prepared, Roxas.]

[onlytwilight]

It's a ruined world...and it's not this place. It's a long story.

Okay, I know where you are. Hold on, okay? [And if any guards go near her...]

[princessatsea]

[The words "long story" never seem to end well. Especially when both Naminé and Roxas say the same thing.]

Okay. I'll wait here. [And stay away from anyone else she sees, respectively.]

[onlytwilight]

I'll be right there.

[princessatsea]

[And so Kairi's waiting, by the Apartment block- it's not the first time she's been transported to a different world, and it probably won't be the last, either. But this- this is different. Because something's happened to Sora and Riku, and Roxas and Naminé are here, and it's all going right over her head. So she's going to be pacing a little, making sure she stays out of eyesight of anyone else.]

[onlytwilight]

[Roxas makes his way to where she is as fast as possible. He looks different from when she probably last saw him; he's thinner, a little more tired looking, and...well, angrier, now. He's messed up, and now helping Kairi is his first step to making things okay. He slips up to her without the guards seeing.]

Kairi.

[She...looks the same, and she's a welcome sight now.] Are you okay?

[princessatsea]

[Kairi looks over at him upon his arrival. And... she had only seen him briefly, before he had become a part of Sora- but the boy standing before her now seemed to be different from who she had seen back in The World That Never Was. But she brushes her hair behind her ear, flashing him a hesitant smile.]

Roxas! Hi. [She pauses, considering.] I'm fine. But- I don't think we need to worry about me as much at the moment.

[onlytwilight]

[She's even trying to smile, and it makes him smile a little in turn, trying not to worry her so much...even under the circumstances. But he knows Kairi's not dumb, and she's got every reason to know what's going on.]

Hey. [He gestures with a hand, almost reaching out to her for a brief moment.] Come with me. I'll take you somewhere safe. We'll...talk about what happened on the way.

[princessatsea]

[Kairi nods in agreement to this-- she's learned bits and pieces of what's going on so far, and it's all muddled up in her head. So maybe it's not the first time she's ended up on a completely different world, but it's the first time Sora and Riku haven't been okay. And that worries her.]

Thanks... Roxas. [It feels a little weird to be talking to him, still, when he's Sora's Nobody. But she moves until she's in line beside him, ready to go.] So there are safe places around here?

[He walks with her, leading her back to the apartments, the only safe place he can gather for now.]

Here, nowhere's really safe. But this isn't how it usually is, I promise. The apartments are sort of secure for right now, though. That's where we're going to go.
