An odd form of procrastination
Instead of working on my music literature paper due in... a few days, I'm searching for publications on PsychInfo written by the faculty at my future department. I'm trying to learn about possible research and thesis topics I could end up doing. It's really silly though because I don't even start the master's until the end of August, and I won't even be working on the thesis until about a year after that. If I'm so excited about grad school, shouldn't I focus my energies on finishing my current classes so I can send that pesky final transcript in and get it all over with? I have an ineffective sense of priority, and I'm still the procrastinator I've always been... definitely have to work on that before grad school starts!
