My Pregnancy Update
Hey everyone. So it's time for a positive entry and since today has been so much better then yesterday I've decided to update ya on how things are going with my pregnancy. Moo is doing great. So far no major problems. Every time we go in for an ultra sound the technician says everything looks good and my doctor hasn't said anything bad so I'm assuming that's a good thing lol. I however have had a few issues. I've had to have a few more tests done then what my sisters had to do. Although I think Jessie had to do things I haven't had to do but anyway. They've been watching my blood pressure because it's been on the high end of normal so they want to make sure I get hyper tension. So the first test I had to do was a 24 hour urine collection and more blood drawn. That was fun let me tell you. Every time you have to pee you have to collect it in a little urinal and then poor it into a container they give you. I didn't go anywhere for the day I did that because how embarrassing would it be to be seen carrying around a jug of pee lol. But everything from that came back normal but then my doctor noticed my blood sugar was a little high so I had to do an early glucose test. So I did that and again it came back normal. I know I'm pregnant and I will have to do lots of tests but still it's annoying. Then again my doctor was concerned for my blood pressure so I had to come in for another ultra sound to check the growth of the baby. And she wants to keep an eye on my blood pressure so I might have to go to some lab to get checked every week. Ugh! So annoying! Then I take the regular glucose test and it comes back a little high! OMG I was going to scream. This means I had to take the 3 hour test and I had to take personal time at work just so I could do it. It was super annoying but the next day I get a call and they said it came back normal! Thank the lord! And finally we went to the ultra sound this week to check on the baby and everything looks good. Moo is doing great and the technician loves look at um. Here are the most recent pictures:
Moo didn't want to show moo's face so the tech took pictures of the legs. Apparently Moo has his legs above his head lol. It's so cute and moo's almost 3 lbs! Ahhh! Big baby! I didn't think I'd have a small one lol. And yes I know I've been saying his but we still don't know what moo is so I'm assuming it's a boy cause that's how I feel lol. Call it a mothers intuition lol. I've also been feeling moo a lot which is good because right now I'm at 29 weeks and I need to be doing my kick counts. So far so good :-) Baby shower is scheduled for March 21st so I can't wait for that but apparently my mother wants me to be on the verge of labor before I can have my shower lol. I guess I'm the only one who knows how to schedule things in my family lol. And why does everyone insist on making the pregnant women wait longer then she has to? LOL 9 months isn't enough? Eh I'll live just need to make sure I get a cute coming home outfit just in case ;-) But I think I'll be late instead of early or on time. Due dates are only a prediction so we'll have to WAIT and see haha. Sandy's been good but he still hasn't felt the baby kick yet. It's kind of frustrating because I can feeling and I want him to share it with me but he can't and I feel bad. I'm sure very soon he'll be able to feel the baby. I'm just not a skinny mini like my siblings so it might be a bit longer for him. I know he'll be excited then but for now he's still like "eh whatever it's a baby" LOL. I love him but wish he showed more emotions for certain things hahaha. Hmm I think that's it. But like I said before things are going good so far. And less then 3 months away! I still can't believe how fast time is going but it's not at the same time. I just can't wait till April to hold my baby in my arms. Right now is kind of a surreal feeling because it's the last few months Sandy and I have alone. I know this is what we wanted but it's still so weird to think about ya know? It's going to be different once the baby gets here that's for sure but we've had our fun time to share it with our children :-). Ok I'm starving and that's not good so it's time for food. I'll ttyl!
