Some Thoughts
I feel like I've been neglecting my writing and my journals so I found a note book at work and I just started this today where I will start putting thoughts into my notebook. I actually wanted to started a thought journal or an outline journal of stories and what not but I haven't done it yet. I need to work on writing more though because I definitely don't think my job is secure anymore but that is another story lol. So my thoughts for today include snow, topless women, and breakfast. LOL you'll get it once I start writing.
I'm so sick of people saying they don't like eating breakfast. I'm really just picking on my sister lol. But no really I think breakfast is really important and I understand that now more then ever. I never ate breakfast when I was going to school and was always so tired. It really does help and I know that now. I wish I knew that when I was going to school cause it probably would of helped me do a little better then I did. But we aren't going to blame all of my problems in school on not having breakfast lol.
So this weekend I had a girls night in sleep over. It was suppose to be just the girls because I got Dusty to stay at Nikki's for the night and Sandy was suppose to be in Virginia on a store opening. Well About a week ago they called and told him they didn't need the help anymore. So that means he would be home instead of gone and I was so upset. So he asked Shane if they could do something together. Shane said sure so we were back to our girls night in. Well then Nick, Krystina's husband starts planning to play cards and go to a strip club with Shane. Krystina tells me this because she is right there when they start talking about it and Krystina tells them um this was suppose to be a Shane and Sandy thing. So I told Sandy that night to call Shane and tell him what you want to do. I know my husband he's not interested in strip clubs and that's what he told me. So he tells Shane that he wouldn't mind playing cards or going bowling or going to play pool or something but he didn't want to go to a strip club. So Shane says ok we can do something else but you know Nick he has to have things his way. Saturday he calls me asks why I don't want Sandy to go a to a strip club. I told him I have nothing against it he just doesn't want to go. Nick then says well he's never been to one so how would he know what they are like. So they basically force him to go to a strip club even though he didn't want to. Krystina was like you know if he wants to come back home he was more then welcome to because she knows this is not what he wanted to do. Well he still went which is fine by me but he didn't have alot of fun because it's totally what he expected. So then I found out from Krystina that Nick said Sandy wasn't enjoying himself so it was kind of a downer for him. Uh duh!!! He didn't want to go in the first place so what makes you think he was going to enjoy himself? He wanted to hang out watch movies, go bowling or something like that no watch a bunch of immature men giggle about boobs. I love Sandy but I wish he did have friends his age that were guys then he would of avoided all this.
And last but not least Snow!!! Yes we are forecasted to get 1 to 5 inches of snow tomorrow. You know what that means? Christmas is getting closer. Thanksgiving is actually next week which I just can't believe yet lol. I can't wait for the holidays this year for some reason. Maybe because I know it's the last holidays that will be for me because next year it will be all about the baby lol. Sandy and I have been doing a little christmas shopping here and there. We've gotten some wrapping paper, cards, a jingle bells wreath for our door, and Sandy got a hat lol. I was thinking of making calendars for the parents since we don't have a ton of money this year to really buy alot of stuff. And I have lots of scrapbooking things that I could use for them so they aren't going to cost that much. Lindsay found me a website where I can get them for $4 each which is great. All I would really need to do it print out pictures. And we were going to do 3 calendars one for each of the parents. I will have to order them next week when I get paid cause I'm kind of tapped out this week lol! But yeah I'm excited the holidays are coming fast :-)
Oh on another note guess where I'm going this weekend? Well last weekend we went over to Krystina's and Shane was there. Well we started talking about going to a hockey game and I said well we can't go to Buffalo cause their tickets are expensive and we don't want to go see the Amerks because they suck right now. I was like we should go to Portland ME and see the pirates play so we can see the old Amerks/Sabres rookies we used to see on the Amerks. So Shane was like yeah we should that would rock. So we looked up how far away Portland is from Rochester and according to google maps it's 7 hours and 59 minutes so that means we would make it in 6 hours maybe less. And it's a straight shot for the most part so it wouldn't be a hard trip to make. Then Shane goes well we'd only want to stay one night cause we wouldn't want to pay for 2 nights in hotel. So we'd have to drive up early one day and then leave the next. So we looked at the pirates schedule and this Saturday they are playing at home. So after we leave Krystina's I start looking at hotel prices and stuff like that at home. Well I wake up the next morning and Sandy goes book that hotel room. I was like what?! And he was like yeah we should do it cause this is something we wanted to do before the baby was born. So we are going to Portland ME this weekend! I'm so excited cause it's so spontaneous for us lol. Shane is going to come too. It's going to be fun I'm sure. I'll take lots of pictures don't worry. I can't wait to add Maine to places I've been. And we go right through Massachusetts too so I can add that lol.
