I have come to the realisation that I don't actually own a pair of shoes. I have sandals, I have flip flops, I have boots but I don't have any shoes!
I keep thinking I ought to buy some but I have very fussy feet. They have very high arches so flat shoes are impossible. I have to have a small heel, just so the arch of the shoe fits the arch of my foot, otherwise it is extremely painful to walk. Shoes at the moment either seem to be very high, completely flat or the kind of style that my granny wouldn't be seen dead in (which says something as one granny would be 107 and the other 93 if they were both still alive!) I am also thinking that I ought to buy some really good quality shoes so they last. This means more money than I can afford (on my wage, Clarks is expensive!) so maybe I'll have to have a "shoe account" somewhere.
Why can't I have normal feet like the majority of the population?
