Well, if you can't tell already it's been a pretty damn good week in Leslie Land. I have so many more people to hang out with this year than I did during my undergrad or first year of grad school. One person in particular is making me very very happy. :) OU had better hire me so I don't have to leave next year. I think I've got a pretty good shot.

School is definitely the huge-ass storm cloud hanging over my head. Is it bad that I really don't care about my classes? I guess it's because I've always gotten A's no matter how much I procrastinate. That might end up being more of a problem this quarter since I have to write my seminar paper. But for now, I think I'll be okay just blocking out chunks of time for school and leaving the rest for fun and games.

Fokushima is still going well. We had our fifth practice last night. I have a 4-track CD made from one of our other rehearsals if anyone wants to hear it. I'll go ahead and plug our gig again: Thursday, Sept. 29. Front Room. 9pm-ish. BE THERE!

Short rant to follow..............JCON should show only anime and other Japanese stuff. Especially when a 70-some episode series is already possibly going to limit the number of series we get to see. Oh well, too late now. Grr and stuff. EDIT: Sakerdoodle makes a good point. Maybe there could be a few minutes of discussion before or after the showing of Reboot for those like me who want to understand its significance? I guess that first sentence was too closed-minded. The combo of the non-anime and a really long series was just a little disappointing to me. I wanna be exposed to as many titles as possible since I don't know many of them. So that's probably just a personal preference more than anything.

Busy day ahead. Hopefully my evening will be relaxing. :)
