I can’t help it, but I find Garth strangely fascinating, lol. I hope they don’t kill him off. I’m just waiting for the Winchesters to say, “You’ve been Sam’d,” or “You’ve been Dean’d.” lol Though, given Dean’s penchant for the ladies, being “Dean’d” could mean something entirely different, lol.
I have to agree with Sam, in regards to wondering if Dean can even get drunk anymore. He’s been drinking a crap-load anymore. It probably takes enough to take down an elephant to get Dean even remotely drunk. (Kinda like Cas in “99 Problems.”) But… digressing….
Anyway, loved the episode. Maybe not one of my more personal favorites, but it still held my interest nonetheless. (Nothing says revenge like ghost-attached liquor! lol) Given that drinking was the only way to see the spirit, this episode was tailor-made for the Winchesters.
I’m glad that Sam is back to normal, but I can’t wait to see how this will play out further.
I knew it! I knew Bobby’s spirit was lingering around Dean! When the sword shot toward Dean, my feelings and suspicions grew stronger. Of course, seeing Ghost!Bobby at the end confirmed everything. It’s so weird seeing big badass hunter Bobby become the very thing he hunts. When he flickered out at the end, that was just so… bizarre.
Of course, this led to wondering as to why he stayed behind. Yes, to protect the boys, but wouldn’t John and Mary have done the same? Then it hit me, of all times as I’m loading the dishwasher: Bobby wants revenge against Dick - which falls under the paranormal category of unfinished business. Hence why the Hunter’s Funeral didn’t work on him. Am curious as to how this will play out once Dick is taken care of. (Is it just me, or are there a lot of curious meanings in that paragraph? lol)
