BOBBBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy. Freaking. Hell. NO!
Powers That Be, do not, and I repeat, DO NOT effing kill Bobby! I will seriously have to go up to Vancouver (or LA) and personally kick some ass myself. Damn it. Why is everyone close to the brothers dying? I mean, I know the show was going to its roots like in the earlier seasons, but did it mean killing everyone off? First Castiel, now Bobby. If you all thought Dean was a bit unstable and depressed before, this is going to open up a whole new can of “un-Dean-like attitude.” And Sam? I’m worried how this will affect his already problematic mind….
I am still clinging to hope that Bobby hasn’t died yet, and will NOT die. I mean maybe they can summon Crowley to help. I do think he would help the boy, as long as it served his own interests too, and I think it does since the boys need all the help they can get when it comes to Dick (the aptly named character) and the Leviathans. He was keeping the demons at bay so they could focus on said Purgatory creeps.
Maybe he could do it without the need for a soul or something. It is wishful thinking, I know.
Poor Bobby didn’t have it easy growing up, that’s for sure. The fact that his father was an abusive ass and Bobby wound up killing him as a child… wow. Talk about screwing with his head for the rest of his life. He never had kids because he was afraid he’d turn into his father. I was really heartbroken to hear that as Bobby was always so good with Sam and Dean. (I just loved the part where he took Dean out and threw a ball with him!!) And it was just as heartbreaking to find out that he and Karen had a huge fight over it just before she died. I now understand why he drank (drinks) so heavily.
Personally, I didn’t blame Bobby in the least for shooting his father. Personally, he had it coming. I know it sounds harsh, but that’s just how I feel.
Even though John was a hard-ass and had some questionable parenting choices, at least he never raised a hand like that to the boys.
And RUFUS! Aw, man, I loved having him on the show. And really adored that it was he who was helping Bobby in his subconscious.
Over all, it was a very sad episode and I cannot wait until it starts up again.
Stupid hellatus.
