Before I begin, if anyone wants to add Kyle to their live journal, he is ijumpoutofcars and has just joined the world of live journal!
Kyle and I went to watch the Stereophonics in concert last night and had an amazing time. As I finished work at 1, we managed to get into London by half 3, and I then insisted on dragging Kyle to Covent Garden to my favourite cocktail place ever, Maxwells. Mojihos, Moscow Mules, beer and Key Wests were drunk whilst sitting at the bar and enjoying the bottle twirling (and a barman accidentally putting the bottle top in a ladies drink!) before we decided it would be a waste not to go to the concert, lol.
Alexandra palace was a great venue, with an all standing crowd it is a similar atmosphere to outdoor concerts with people just sitting on the floor and chilling out. We had some more beer and watched The Subways - who I had never heard of but were brilliant - before the 'phonics themselves came on. Kelly Jones looked as hot as ever, with the voice of a God and I loved every second of it! Unfortunately we forgot cameras so no photos....
So all in all one of the best ways to spend a Saturday night I think! I dont think I go to enough concerts, because of the crowds, but last night I didnt even flinch so I plan on doing it lots more!
