Just popping in to spread the excitement about the upcoming film, Penelope. It's a modern-day fairy tale about a girl born with the face of a pig. The official site is here, watch the HD trailer on Yahoo.
Besides being really excited about James McAvoy (Mr. Tumnus!), I'm also really excited about the design and color in this film. The cool, elegant hues of Penelope's parents' and suitors' world are strongly contrasted to Penelope's world of warmth and whimsy. Besides the rumpled look, James McAvoy wonderfully bridges those two worlds with the red pinstripes on his suit. Penelope herself is obviously an Anthropologie shopper, and possibly a Wardrobe_Remixer. ;)
