Not at all complete, but here goes . . .
Red carpet favorites:
Meryl Streep: This may be my favorite gown of the evening. I thought she might have a hard time living up to her screen wardrobe, but nope!
Jennifer Hudson: She just looked so sweet up there! Her bracelet is an especially lovely touch.
Kaho Minami: Gorgeous, gorgeous example of a look that's absolutely stunning flaunting skin. The colors especially, are so beautiful. Photo courtesy NBC.com.
Sienna Miller's hair: I just love the cornet!
Hilary Swank: Don't normally like her, but her look tied together so nicely. And I think she gets the award for the dress that moved best on stage - I love a dress that kicks when you walk!
Rachel Weizs: Way to break out of the black-and-white mold with a shock of color!
Not so Much:
Cate Blanchett: I was prepared to really, really like this gown - I adored the top half as I watched it on screen, and Blanchett generally has a stellar sense of style. The train was quite a disappointment, unfortunately.
Rinko Kikuhi: Upon closer inspection I realize there weren't pom-poms on her dress, but when it looks like there's pom-poms, it's a bad thing.
Helen Mirren: Another outfit I would have really loved - the hair, the color, the fabrics, the jewellry - but it was so distractingly LOW! At least let's act our age.
Cameron Diaz: A lot of elements that could work really nicely, but with all of them together I felt there was too much going on.
Vanessa Williams: This is so loud you almost want to back away from the screen
Hon. Mentions:
Heidi Klum: A little Star-Warsy, but I like it! Same could be said for
Ellen Pompeo, actually.
Angelina Jolie: I very Seriously dislike this woman, but, *mumble* thedresswasokay.
Felicity Huffman: Another actress I dislike, but the skirt is gorgeous (sans cathedral train, that is).
Ana Oritz: I didn't even see her at the awards, and I don't care for the hair so much, but wow! the LACE!
Emily Blunt: Hair and a smile to die for. Not to mention Michael Buble.

What say you all? agree? disagree? Anything I'm missing? The best part of the red carpet is talking about it, so I'd love to hear your thoughts.
