My thoughts: I loved this split time story! In the beginning, it was almost overwhelming to have three stories going on at the same time, but I got used to it and grew to love each of the characters as they told their story. I love the contrast of stories: one set in the French Revolution, WWII France, and present day America/France. This is an incredible historical novel that I highly recommend!
