one of my cousins lived in acacia temporarily... he thought it was alright.
As for tennagers, well they are both dumber and smarter. They are smarter than most adults in rgeards to ability to use technology and so on. HOwever, and this was something I noticed in the law library and in my degree with people who had finished highschool even only a few years behind me, they are a far bit 'stupider' as you put it in regards to academic hard copy issues. For example, most don't know how to edit an essay or spell properly or use grammar even when trying; instead they usually rely on a spell checker.. take the checker awya and they have no clue. Also while may of them can research online, they have no idea how to research in books. While they can find almost any form of information online they have no clue about how to verify the data.
I know these are sweeping generalisations, and there are exceptions. But these were common issues at uni that even had lecturers storming mad and giving actual lecture time to ensuring people would edit apart from spell checkers etc. There were also other things, but I just used a couple of examples.
I'm so guilty of using online resources to back up assignments. I'm lazier now that I'm doing Business Admin; when I was doing law I wouldn't have dared pull some of the shit I pull now.
some were fantastic, some were absolutely awful. Ineterestingly enough the big difference was whether they could take you disagreeing with their years of studied academic problem. If they could (provided of course you backed yourself up) then they were also usually good lecturers. If they couldn't then they also usually sucked
