The thing I hate about respiratory illness is. .

. . . that even when you feel better, just trying to do something proves you're not well.
Example:
I've been struck down by a mild bronchitis. By mild I mean it started and stayed in my chest, no nose problems or fevers etc that normally occur.
I was able to call the on call doc and get an albuterol inhaler and some cough syrup on Saturday and I actually started to feel better yesterday evening. The morning was a whole other story, I couldn't talk without wheezing, like stevie on malcolm in the middle. But the problem is I wanted to do stuff and I couldn't
A shower left me exhausted, dishes caused me to wheeze, repeatedly standing and sitting caused coughing. It sucked.

Today however I am doing better. I can walk around the interior of my house now, whereas before I was limited to two room trips. I was able to avoid having to use my inhaler until just now. I even got some of my sewing done.
Now it's break time. I didn't go to work today so that I could get better. Taking it easy when you have things to get done sucks.
(especially when you are all caught up on TV and don't have cable!)
