(no subject)
So I got into Nunsense, yay! But not the role I wanted, the cool singing nun, instead I'm the - guess what - ballerina nun. Suprise surprise. I walked into the dance audition and went "I'm the only person in this room who's ever done ballet" and even though I suck ROYALLY at it and actually did a really good singing audition (I thought, anyway) the outcome was obvious. So I'm slightly bitter, but hey, it's still a good role and I DO get to wear my painful-but-pretty pointe shoes, and me and fleur get to do a HILARIOUS duet, and as well as my main ballet number I do another one called 'The Dying Nun' which is a send up of Swan Lake's Dying Swan, so it'll still be fun.
So I'm totally busy with rehearsals and tap classes (super fun) and jazz classes and singing lessons and soon we'll be into rehearsals for Claire's burlesque show too. I may possibly die from over-exposure to dance, but meh. At least it rules out the possibility of going to Dance Factory next year...looks like it's WAAPA or NIDA, unless I get discovered in LA and become a big famous movie star overnight. I like that plan best.
