Aaaaaaaaah.

I cannot believe how much I loved the way you finished this story up. Plus, more goat action!

I really enjoy how you used Leslie cleaning out her home to make space. I have a lot of Leslie inside of me, right down to the hoarder-in-training, and I can't imagine getting rid of my things unless it were for a good reason.

Love Ben's brother and sister-in-law making an appearance in the end of this story. I don't know if you did this intentionally or not, but it seemed to me like it was a transition from one part of Ben's family (biological) to another part of Ben's family (the one he chose).

Sidenote for craponaspatula: I really enjoy how you drew Ben's plaid on the ground. Also excellent choice in plaid.

Really excellent work all around. I might have to reread it from the beginning sometime soon.

It's open for interpretation but in my mind that plaid is Ben's unmentionables.

I really appreciate that. And I will interpret it as such from this moment on.

See, I don't think it's open to much interpretation. On the right you can see Ben's shirt and tie (the same as he was wearing in the earlier art), so clearly they are underthings.

Thanks so much! It's so interesting to hear what was working for you specifically - and yes, I don't know that I could have articulated it quite so clearly, but somehow I wanted to close that loop for Ben, maybe more to integrate his whole life than to make a transition. Also because it didn't seem fair for there to be these people who loved him and had been with him while he was sad, not to see some of the happiness, too.

If you did re-read it, would love to hear more about what strikes you at that point!
