I LOVE the first one, so sensual and intimate and gah! ... just wonderful. You can feel really them in it as an established couple, extremely comfortable with each other, and it's just so very lovely. Then the second, with her not being able to sleep. I adored it! Because I've wondered about Ben's view of that whole "I've only slept 9 hours in the past 3 nights" thing. It's another phase where trying to sleep next to her is hell, but he loves it anyway, because it's so her and it's so human and he does understand, even if it drives him nuts--and you captured that beautifully. The last one was sad and beautiful and rang extremely true to me. How they don't quite know what to do with themselves and each other, and the way the new job in the new city still feels like an abstraction to him the night before, but that he knows he'll be excited when he gets there. It's all both good and at the same time so sad--so very much like life.
In short, these were all wonderfully intimate and wonderfully real and I loved them to bits. I don't know why they don't have 1000 comments yet, because they should. ;)
Oh, and the texting bit is just hilarious, and I think you added that bit with the autocorrect? Made me laugh out loud.

And yes, I added the autocorrect after the draft you read, because I remembered that autocorrect is the worst thing ever.
Thanks too for the fastest beta read of anything ever.
